Carpenter Ant Control

Because ants and termites look so much alike many people believe that their house is infested with termites when in fact, the culprit is the carpenter ant. While termites cause the most serious damage to your home, carpenter ants are very dangerous and pose the potential of thousands of dollars of damage to the wooden structure of a building.

What are they?
During the warmer months of the year carpenter ants search for new territories to establish their nesting colonies often in wood framed homes. Carpenter ants attack wooden structures differently than termites. While termites can digest hard wooden supports and beams, carpenter ants make their nests and tracks in softened, rotting wooden construction.

Effective carpenter ant killer
Controlling carpenter ants control requires understanding how these ants live, work, and eat. Finding and removing the primary and secondary nests (often hidden inside walls and baseboards) is the first step. We recommend our Trimester Service Plan to help maintain your protection.
